Niliquit 9-5 ilikuwa inanilipa 150k/month.
Imenitake two years for my company kunilipa 67k/month na nafanya kazi from 7AM to 11PM every day, na sometimes unapata uko na employees wanakupea the hardest time ever, na kuwafuta kazi ni even more expensive.
Every month uko na bills za kulipa in the millions, end month kila mtu ako happy isipokuwa wewe juu uko na another 30 days kuraise another million. Na imagine all this trouble ndiyo net salary yako ikuwe 50k
Sometimes doh haitoshi unasema wacha ulipe the employees alafu KRA utawatumia yao by 9th, unajaribu kupata loan bank inakataa juu hauna shamba ya security, inafika 15th unapata weird calls, unashika unapata ni KRA, unawaambia utawalipa next Friday, wanakuambia Friday haiwezekani, labda Thursday. Inabidi uongee with one of your clients akulipe mapema, anakusomea akikuambia biz haifanywi hivo but anaitikia eventually.
Next week inafika unalipa KRA, SHA,NSSF, Housing Levy. Unahave some peace kidogo only to realize that next week ni end month na this time uko na deficit kubwa kushinda last month, and the cycle continues.
Kama uko 9-5 na uko sawa, I can’t advise you to quit. Heri ujaribu entrepreneurship in parallel but usiquit job yako. It feels good when you tell people that you quit your job to pursue your dream but you also need to understand that your dream will take time before it starts paying the bills, and it might also die before you eat a shilling from it.
Bro to bro , come closer !!!!
Know your numbers, income, expenses, savings rate.
Avoid debt for status, use debt only for strategy to Upscale , upskill .
If you can’t track it, you can’t control it. Track your money , not when you’re broke.
Small daily leaks sink people more than big expenses. 2k here , 10k there , 20k next tomorrow.
Your lifestyle will rise to meet your income if you don’t set limits.
Spend intentionally, not emotionally.

ADVICE TO YOUNG MEN NEWLY EMPLOYED
The Amerix community has numerous opportunities for its followers.
The connections are always beneficial.
During the last Men's Assembly, I witnessed 3 young men being assured of instant employment.
Seeing jobless young men being given a new lease of life through these connections is amazing.
However, once these young men get the jobs, they vanish.
They never give feedback or bother to update their experiences.
Only for them to reappear later with sob stories of how they lost their jobs or conditions didn't favour them to continue. Therefore, they need me to connect them to any other available opportunities.
This kind of self-entitled attitude is so nauseating and repulsive.
I always block these kinds of people when they come to my inbox.
So, if you are a young man who has just been employed or has found a short contract, do the following:
Please don't blow it once you receive your first salary, payment or profit.
• Take 10% to church, mosque, charity, or any structured self-help group to support the weak, sick, needy or meek.
• Take 10% and give it to your parents – ( 60% to your Father and 40% to your mother). They can choose to blow it or pay your siblings' fees.
• Take 5% and give it to the person who connected you to the job. If it was contractual work, take 10% and give it to the person who connected you to the contract.
• Take 10% and save.
• Budget the rest (60%) for your expenses ( 35% pay your debts, 25% foot your bills).
This is on your FIRST SALARY or PAYMENT.
Don't receive the money, and the first thing in your head is a phone, a laptop and alcohol.
You will block your other opportunities in the future.
Don't say "it is my money, I have worked for it and I deserve all of it."
It is not your money. Nobody owns money.
Money is just an idea held in trust by legal tender called currency.
Money is a system of mutual trust and shared belief enabling cooperation among strangers.
Therefore, the most IMPORTANT things here are TRUST, — and COOPERATION.
What would it benefit you to pocket the money and lose the mutual trust and Cooperation?
Don't take this for granted.
Remember, the war is spiritual.
Win it at the spiritual level.
Stop sleeping,
Wake up!

As a client, will you pay?
As consultants are you competent enough to convince a client to break the bank?

@Degrata254 The problem with alcohol is the short burst of dopamine it releases, creating a moment of joy. Once it fades, reality hits, leaving one desperate. This cycle continues as people keep seeking that fleeting high and it enters your unconscious self so you won't know when doing it
You need a very good architect to design a large expensive home. You even need a better architect to design small, intimate, low budget home. Many architects cannot design for the poor; they also can't design for the rich. Khaligraph Jones.
Economies of Scale, Bro!
What’s the most expensive ad in all of Africa?
You see: you can’t even think of any.
A 30-second ad during Super Bowl is a whooping $7 million
A single sticker on a F1 race car is upward of $10 million
Now scale that down to a YT ad and an X ad in North America & Europe in comparison to a non-existent African market and you see the picture
Yes it makes a lot of sense. We have what we call Tier one, tier two and tier three countries. For instance in USA, thousands of companies advertise via X so many ads are shown hence good revenue but in Africa just a few of them advertise hence little revenue. Got it?
As you mature you’ll realize that real wealth is in your health, freedom, relationships, quality of decisions, ability to help loved ones, ability to express yourself and be proud of what you see in the mirror. Arise and conquer, champs!
If you have lost something, be glad it wasn't much.
If you have lost much, be glad it wasn't everything.
If you have lost everything, rejoice in the fact that there is nothing more to lose.
Get back to work!
“Human rights are not things that are put on the table for people to enjoy. These are things you fight for and then you protect. The generation that destroys the environment is not the generation that pays the price.”- Wangari Maathai
Someday in this lifetime, I hope to retire to a 100-acre ranch, far away from the hustle and bustle of any city. Ideally in Laikipia, near a body of water and hills. Solar power, grow my own food, and fish. Drive to Nanyuki in my Ford Ranger (> 1 hours' drive) to buy provisions once a month. Drink whiskey from the bottle, listen to country music beside a bonfire, under the starry night sky. It would be happily ever after.
