@Andrew___woods I keep saying the same. We haven’t had a good non-conference home game since Kansas 3 years ago. Yet prices keep going up. Getting tired of it.
@BracketNky As an IU season ticket holder, it stinks even more because they keep raising prices yet this game won’t be included in the season ticket package. They also likely won’t play a single good non conference opponent at home.
@JoeGoodberry Doing something for the sake of doing something accomplishes nothing other than make people feel good in the moment. Ultimately, firing a really good football coach isn’t going to get them closer to winning a SB.
@Ben_Baby Slightly off point, but funny that the first two coaches hired in this cycle were just fired by AFC North franchises. I’m convinced guys are being fired right now just because “change” even if it doesn’t make sense. In the minority, but I’m glad we kept Taylor.
@shaneflannagan@AssemblyCall Exactly. First game I was at this year (Kansas St) and by halftime it was very obvious being in person we had zero athletes and zero size. Shocking a mid major roster delivering mid major results.
@allasley We have no athletes and no size. We have no answer if we aren’t hitting 3’s at a 40% clip. No clue why Devries constructed our roster this poorly.
@DaveMoore44@MoEgger Couldn’t agree more. I’m a diehard IU basketball fan and have zero emotional investment at this point. We literally don’t have a single player back from last year. I refuse to get invested in a team full of guys that have no investment in a school I’ve followed my entire life.
@Firestorm0624@TheMopLady I was at the K-State game and it was immediately obvious we have a deficit of athletes. No one can create their own shot and no one can create for others. We have a starting PG that is just a 3 year older version of Gabe Cupps. Not good.
@TheMopLady Sadly I realized this at the K-State game. In person it was obvious we have no athletes at the guard or wing position. I already knew we had zero size.
Why do no guards, especially in college basketball, shoot a floater or take a 10 foot pull up off the dribble? Always trying to get completely to the rim when they are undersized and can’t finish there. It’s maddening to watch. @JonRothstein
@JoeGoodberry Defintion of losing football is 32 pass attempts for Burrow and 6 rush attempts for Brown. It’s why we will never win unless someone makes Burrow get under center and stop shotgun and passing 80% of the downs.
@Nicholaspkirby You are completely correct. I so wish they’d go back to 7:10 starts all year. I live in the Dayton area and it’s impossible for me to get to a weekday game on time due to work with the 6:40 starts. So I just don’t go as a result.
@awfulannouncing Why is it that anyone that exhibits memory loss that played football has to have CTE? People do realize that there are a lot of 70 year olds with memory loss that never played football, correct? How do we know any of this was truly caused by football?
