My 10 calls for Kenya’s 2027 General Election:

1. DCP will take Nairobi Governor.
2. Johnson Sakaja will ultimately seek the Nairobi governorship on an ODM ticket.
3. Babu Owino will not contest a seat and will instead negotiate for a Cabinet position.
4. Kalonzo Musyoka will become William Ruto’s running mate.
5. The Opposition will eventually unite, with DCP as the dominant party. Edwin Sifuna and Ndindi Nyoro will emerge as two of the strongest names in the anti-Ruto formation.
6. DCP and UDA will emerge as the two largest parties, with ODM third.
7. David Maraga will go all in.
8. James Orengo will not contest for Governor of Siaya, following the kind of political exit seen with Charity Ngilu in Kitui in 2022.
9. Ethnic voting blocs will remain a major factor in how Kenyans vote.
10. William Ruto will retain the presidency, but by a narrow margin.
