@Antanarivo_88@FoMaHun I see. Just cover them with a plastic sheet I gather. Curious: Did you start with a slurry for the initial pour into the mold to get the lip tightly packed? And then add the waterglass and dry rain the slaked lime / aggregate mix?

@FoMaHun The T-pillars are limestone and could have been carved with flint tools which is harder than limestone. I don’t think this is a stretch to imagine. Makin a mould would be equally challenging as you would be making them 2x. Why do that if you can carve it with flint?

@TheProjectUnity@MargettsBryan Ie no moulds per se, just formwork. (with waxed fabric?) The nubs are positioned low to allow excess binder liquid from the geopolymer to escape. The nubs in stones are quite different from those found in bedrock - these are more substantial and delicately / deliberately formed
@TheProjectUnity@MargettsBryan You wouldn’t need a 1000 moulds if there are poured in place. Once the first & base are formed (notice many bases are smaller stones - easier to fit together?) then you need to form just the face and one side (even if multi faceted) if the back is earth then u have the back stop

If you look at the depth they seem to be as deep as the original outcrop. Slab would be thin & with the fissures perhaps unusable if they were to be large
@HokiePolkie@TheProjectUnity Rubbish! So tiny workers worked behind the slab of the nub to remove all the material behind the desired slab. There wouldn’t be a slab to remove! too narrow to work & if it was an anchor point why bother to form it into squares & rounds? Ridiculous

Even the fault lines in the rock composition were utilized is the material removal. Following the vertical fissures
@TheProjectUnity Whilst ‘nub-like’ these are larger more regularly formed protrusions & appears the result of removing material. More astonishing is the sharp angles and large swaths of material cut out to form the bench, steps and straight back wall. The protrusions served some purpose?
