@BrandonTheAdams@TheWanderingAzn I disagree, morality is objective without a god. No it isnt a physical property of the universe, but its a result of being a human
Morality exists because humans need other humans to survive. Basic "Moral" behaviors are encouraged through evolution , we all generally know not to commit murder. Murderers frequently end up being killed, its not in our self interest. More advanced morals are taught, these tend to benefit society as a whole. These morals do not need a religious framework. All religions are doing is reiterating known morals codes that would be there if a creator existed or didn't
@Dog_Man007@bennyjohnson@HillaryClinton Manufacturing is not returning to the states. The only thing happening is factories are laying off employees and closing their doors.
@SavageOnTheSun@XFreeze I think the next step would be to have gigantic solar arrays in geostationary orbit that beam harnessed energy to earth with microwaves or lasers. But we're a long way off from that technologically
@Squirre60521281@darwintojesus The idea of an omniscient god actually goes against free will. If he is all knowing, then he knows Everything i will ever do, which means I would be unable to make a decision contrary to what he "knows". Either exclusively free will exists, or god exists and is all knowing.
@Just_4Laughs1@CuriosityonX It's not that physicists think a creator is impossible. Its that no evidence of a creator has been found. We cannot assume a god is responsible for everything we dont understand. Humanity thought lightning was caused by gods at one point because we didnt understand it.
The Gilgamesh epic predates genesis, the flood myth was a common story in Mesopotamia. Floods between the tigris and euphrates rivers were devastating to villages. It makes sense that people would tell cautionary tales of floods that develop through word of mouth storytelling. Besides, use some common sense, if there was a worldwide flood, where did all the water go?
Do you honestly think from the dawn of humanity, we immediately knew how to write? Youre probably trying to get me to say sumarian. But the thing is, a WRITTEN language is not the same as a SPOKEN language. Written language didnt develope until far after humans could speak. You still did not address cave paintings and carvings in Africa up to 100,000 years old.
