NEW: In today's Fraud and Oversight Committee meeting, the Walz Administration admitted they have NOT been stopping kickbacks within the fraud-riddled Child Care Assistance Program!

This has been a known problem since at least 2019 when the Office of the Legislative Auditor released a report that recommended DHS "improve its internal controls and risk assessment of fraud in CCAP and develop an estimate of improper payments, including fraud."

@LitaFaith @Vox_Oculi @DOGE @nickshirleyy Federal money was involved in this though. Was this just a form of modern money laundering? Fed gave the state money and it was the state's responsibility to audit it's use? Something is broke in this auditing chain for sure
