I know they want to make this trend about Trump, but as somone who has worked in digital media for 15+ years, I believe it goes much deeper than that.
Nearly every political influencer you talk to is seeing a noticable decline. My theory: the country is entirely BURNT OUT on politics, division, fear etc (me included).
At the same time, guess what is EXPLODING online? The Gospel. People are actively seeking out truth and hope — and the ultimate source of both are Jesus Christ and the Bible.
So while political content struggles to find its ground, @thelivefreepod is arguably the FASTEST growing Christian podcast (in the world?).
The podcast has seen growth so explosive over the past year, YouTube can't even give me the growth percentage in the analytics... it just says >999%.
Why am I telling you this? To brag on my favorite podcast? Absolutely not. It's to point my media friends in the right direction. For as long as I've been doing this, hyperpolitical, fear-based content has driven results and dominated feeds.
Until now. The old playbook simply isn't working. And I honestly think that's a good thing.
My thesis is that we are experiencing a violent pendulum swing the other way — the human spirit is screaming for truth, hope, joy, and love. They are sharing and consuming more content that brings peace, not anxiety. It makes sense why people's hearts are being drawn to the Prince of Peace.
I am no futurist, but I would not be surprised if digital media plays a HUGE role in the next revival we see in this country and around the world. I've had debates over whether the disciples would have used social media to share the Gospel... I don't even hesitate to answer yes. Whatever. It. Takes.
And God has written a decoder of truth into our hearts so that when we hear the truth, we know it. Jesus Christ is the truth, the way, and the life.
The point I am absolutely NOT making is that you should talk about Jesus for views, though unfortunately it seems some are already doing just that and seeing the trend.
But I am saying if you are a Christian and you have a platform, you should talk about Jesus because He is Lord and He deserves the glory of the platform He's given you.
It just so happens that there seems to be more people who want to hear the truth than I've ever seen in my lifetime.
You can also talk about heroes, tell stories of glory, cover the stories that highlight the truth behind everything... just stop telling us the world is ending if politician X or Y doesn't get elected. People need HOPE.
I just feel like so many of us are DONE putting our faith in politicians and talking heads who will let you down 100% of the time. We're all-in on Jesus.
Worry less about your glory and more about His... your life usually goes much better when you do that.
Don’t go to therapy. Fix your diet and get some exercise. Spend more time outdoors. You’ll feel infinitely better after a week than you would after 10 years of therapy.
🚨 The U.S. Election System is Broken.
Here’s what the disclosures reveal:
- Hundreds of millions of American voter files in the hands of foreign govs
- Voting machines & ballot-counting systems exposed to hacking & manipulation
- China & other adversaries actively trying to meddle in elections
- Evidence of fraud being buried
- Hundreds of thousands of non-citizens & dead people still active on voter rolls
- No Voter ID, no Proof of Citizenship required
- Tens of millions of mail-in ballots floating unsecured
Enough is enough.
2026 is not only the 250th anniversary of American independence, but also the 250th anniversary of the publication of Adam Smith’s highly influential Wealth of Nations, which represents a clarion call for economic independence from previously failed systems.
Every time the Lord is leading you through a storm, I humbly ask that you remember THIS story.
“God is always doing 10,000 things in your life, and you may be aware of three of them.” – John Piper
It's almost like we as Republicans should keep the promises that we make to our voters instead of pretending to be conservative once every few years to get re-elected.
As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, I am calling for 50 days of prayer—from this Friday, May 15, through July 4. We have one pastor from every state who will lead us in prayer for America at noon every day here on my X page or at https://t.co/kjOvqLJdJT. Let’s join together in PRAYER for our country! “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12).
Prayer is a part of America’s DNA — it’s who we are as a nation. The long arc of this nation’s history has been charted by the prayers of God-fearing citizens.
As we celebrate our 250th anniversary, we pray that God continues to bless America and that the next generation cherishes freedom, protects liberty, and proclaims proudly what is right and good and true.
Scripture says, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”
I’ve been witness to that truth in my life, and we’ve seen it throughout American history.
We pray the Lord continues to bless this nation, and He guides our steps for another 250 years.
Our Founding Fathers understood that God governs in the affairs of men and that our freedoms come solely from Him.
We rededicate America as One Nation Under God.
For America to be great, we must always remain one nation under God.
On National Day of Prayer, we pledge that America will always, as it is written in Psalm 96, “Tell His glory among the nations”—and that we will never forget God’s role in creating, protecting, & sustaining the freest, strongest, most prosperous, & greatest country in the world. 🙏
🚨 WOW! Trump HUD Sec. Scott Turner just said it PERFECTLY at the National Day of Prayer
"Prayer is very powerful because Almighty God is powerful. And that truth has guided our great nation through mountaintops and valleys for the past 250 years." 🇺🇸
"Our Founding Fathers were men of faith who understood that God is the cornerstone of our republic."
"And all of us here because we recognize that truth as well."
"And we know that God's power impacts both the lives of individuals and the destiny of our entire country."
"To paraphrase Benjamin Franklin said, the God who controls the flight of sparrows is the same God who charged the course of nations."
"Scripture says in Proverbs that the heart of man plans his ways, but the Lord establishes His steps."
"I'm so grateful that God establishes my steps. How about you?" 🙏🏻 @RapidResponse47
