Handing over more data to systems we don't fully trust to handle it the way we want because...YOLO *shrug*...feels like we're not owning/forcing enough accountability.
@defnotbeka Sadly, software engineers are doomed to not understand the concept of regular languages and *real* regular expressions unless they study the formalism. Implementations are generally too powerful or, in this case, not powerful enough. *sigh*
