We've been doing internal app migrations to .NET Core for a while. So far, pieces of Stack Overflow completely on .NET Core:
- SocketServer (real-time events like score)
- Scheduler (e.g. badge award triggers)
- StackMail (how we send all email)
- Tag Engine (tag search, etc.)
