Non stop protests continue in Georgia - Day 528 🇬🇪
Today is Europe Day, a place the pro-Russian regime didn’t want us to be part of.
Actually, that’s one of the main reasons why the non stop protests started in Georgia and have continued for more than 500 days.
Today is Europe Day.
And Ukraine is marking it not formally or through sloganeering, but fully aware that we are already an inseparable part of the European family. We are defending Ukraine, our independence, our future – and in doing so, we in Ukraine are defending our Europe. A Europe of which Ukraine has been and will remain a part.
From the first days of the full-scale war until today, Europe has stood with Ukraine. And this is not charity – it is a choice made by Europeans: to stand on the same side as the brave and the strong – the Ukrainians who are fighting today for peace and true protection against tyranny, not only for themselves, but for the entire continent. And we will inevitably defend our state, our people, and our right to freely choose our future – a future in Europe.
Glory to Ukraine!
It’s painful to realize that the moment the Russian missile hit, someone’s life stopped even though everything froze in place: furniture still standing, food still in the fridge, napkins left on the table…
and yet the people are gone. The children are gone. Killed by Russia.
📍Kyiv, Ukraine
This is a piece of a Russian KH-47 Kinzhal hypersonic missile that was intercepted over Ukraine by an American Patriot missile 3 years ago.
It sits in my office.
Tragically the Ukrainian air defender who shot this down was later killed in another raid.
Слава Україні
Look closer. Beneath the towering trees of the Boreal Forest, tiny moss sporophytes are at work. Mosses help retain moisture, support biodiversity, and keep the boreal ecosystem healthy. 🌿
🚨 UKRAINE STRIKES MAJOR INFRASTRUCTURE TARGETS IN RUSSIAN-HELD CRIMEA
Kyiv hit a railway bridge, power plant and other key sites to isolate the peninsula from Russian supply lines.
Russian authorities suspend civilian gasoline sales in parts of Crimea amid growing fuel and electricity disruptions.
Step 1: Remove filters in Reflecting Pool because Obama put them in.
Step 2: Give your criminal neighbor who runs "Greenwater Services" a $20 million no-bid contract to paint the pool.
Step 3: Fill the pool with water from the Potomac River, the phosphates from which cause algae blooms.
Step 4: Freshly sealed pool and extreme heat result in a super scum event
Step 5: Direct National Park Service to dump hydrogen peroxide into the pool which causes the paint to peel.
Step 5: Deploy US National Guard to stop people from taking photos of the swamp as a perfect metaphor for the administration.
Step 6: Blame someone else.
"Italy considers it a sacred principle that Russia itself must pay for the restoration of the country it attacked.
Moscow bears full responsibility for the conflict and the suffering caused in Ukraine"
- Giorgia Meloni - PM of Italy
Simply great woman..😉

Efforts are currently underway in Kryvyi Rih to deal with the aftermath of the Russian missile strike on the city. The Russians targeted civilian infrastructure. First responders have already extinguished the fire. As of now, tragically, three people have been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. More than 20 people have been wounded. Three of them are in serious condition. Everyone is receiving the necessary assistance.
Every such day and every Russian strike prove that the pressure on the aggressor over this war is insufficient. They also prove that every delay in implementing air defense agreements, any delay in supplies needed to protect Ukraine and Ukrainians, effectively costs lives. It is important that the world not remain silent about the fact that Russia has still taken no real step toward ending this war. To all our proposals for diplomacy, meetings, and steps toward peace, we have received no clear response from the Russians. Pressure is needed. Pressure on Russia, so that the situation changes for the better. Thank you to everyone who is helping!
As a Ukrainian who was actually there, I can tell you that no one funded us. Brave, unarmed people died marching against special forces units who were armed to the teeth. They died for freedom, not for a pathetic couple of bucks.
By spreading this misinformation, you insult their memory and every single survivor. You are siding with Russian propaganda that justifies the killing of Ukrainians.
Celebrating a remarkable Canadian 🇨🇦
Through his leadership, @jscongack has helped advance Ontario’s world-leading nuclear sector @Bruce_Power and expanded access to life-saving cancer treatments in partnership with First Nations.
Among his most impactful work and inspired by his wife, James serves as Chair of the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario, helping to end childhood cancer.
It was a privilege to present him with a Canadian flag as he received the @PearsonCentre Catalyst for Change Leadership Award.
In the old USSR, people could be arrested for photographing bridges, tunnels, etc. A repressive and paranoid regime assumed the photographers must be spies and saboteurs. Americans laughed at such petty tyranny. Nothing like that could happen in their free country! Until now.
Lawyers on X: are people allowed to record their visits w/their MDs? I’m prepping an episode on patient-MD dynamics in the emerging medical landscape. I’ll of course filter answers against varying local and state laws. To my MD friends: it’s already happening…
Alligator Alcatraz cost American taxpayers $1.2 billion and as of today, it's shutting down for good.
The Trump administration also spent $700 million of taxpayer dollars on seven prison warehouses they're now trying to offload.
And the Trump administration quietly transferred $352 million of taxpayer funds that were meant for Secret Service to fund his Golden Ballroom.
This, all of it, is WASTE, FRAUD AND ABUSE.
Remember in November. 🇺🇸
The President just made thousands of stock trades — and then he turned around and made decisions that shifted those companies’ bottom lines. It's corrupt, and we need to end it.
It is important to resist the commodification of basic human needs. Food, water and healthcare cannot be subordinated to market considerations or geopolitical interests. Access to adequate food is a fundamental human right grounded in the dignity of every person. Meeting this need not only alleviates suffering but also addresses underlying causes of geopolitical instability. Indeed, food security is an essential component of global and integral security. https://t.co/DgkM9RegJ7
