@SamHasThoughts I think this is better to walk or run vs beacon, but I fully agree this is disappointing as a viable bike commuting route. It makes me curious about the massive sky bridge by lechmere. Is that even this wide? If they ‘fix’ that design with a “walk bikes” sign I might explode.

@DrTaraGoddard When I last looked into it the cost for flex posts and Jersey barriers was surprisingly close. I think flex was $83 each and barrier was ~$200, but it covered the space of two posts. The barriers won’t ever need to be replaced as well.

@bikepedantic I support that vision. Also toll highways should ticket drivers that travel at a speed significantly higher than the speed limit. No cameras needed. If the ticketing was automatic and consistent then traffic would move within a much narrower speed band, perhaps more smoothly?
