Malaysia

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

so taiwan does not own them

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

According to the San Francisco Treaty, there was a relinquishment of the right to the islands without any special beneficiary.

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

@ph_spratly Ardasie Reef isnt:

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

As for China, you did not raise it during the Cairo Declaration and Treaty of San Francisco, which you took part in drafting

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

Taiwans claims of the main shipping line cannot be considered as many other countries also use that area as a shipping line

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

and China's is their history

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

Seems that Taiwan's main points are that it is their main shipping line and there are archeological finds

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

, otherwise you would have claimed all the others

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

I am trying to say that the fact that they were occupied by Tomas Cloma doesn't make it yours

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

@ph_spratly I'm not asking you to do that. Anyway doing that now would be too late as you did not claim it back then

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

In any case, Malaysia has been occupying Mariveles Reef since 1986

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

@ph_spratly If that is your point, then why do you not claim Ardasier Reef and Swallow Reef too?

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

@ph_spratly Do you have another point other than proximity to why Amboyna Cay, Barque Canada Reef, and Mariveles Reef should belong to you?

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

Amboyna Cay, Barque Canada Reef, part of the region you defined as "Kalayaan", is nearer to us than to you or Vietnam.

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

Some parts of Kalayaan, including Mariveles Reef, which you claim, are nearer to us than to you

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

that it is not yours

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

But by not including Commodore Reef in the Philippine Archipelagic Baseline Law of 2009, which you drafted yourself, you seem to agree

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

farther back in time than the Baseline Law

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

that was signed on 11 June 1978

[Malaysia @my_spratly]

May I know why you want it now if you did not declare it 11 years ago in the Law that you signed?
