Gostaria de partilhar a minha realidade e reafirmar como funciona um sítio com impostos inteligentes e como não é preciso taxar as pessoas a torto e a direito.

Vivo nas Ilhas Caimão (nascido e criado no Porto). Aqui "não há impostos". Existe, contudo, o seguinte:

Um imposto de 7.5% único quando se compra uma casa.

~20% quando se importam coisas (alfândega).

Tem que se pagar pelo work permit para estrangeiros viverem/trabalharem cá (empresas pagam isso e vai directo para o governo).

Empresas têm que pagar seguro de saúde e pensão a todos os funcionários.

Qualquer vaga de trabalho que exista, se se quiser contratar alguém estrangeiro, tem que se provar ao governo que alguém de cá não a consegue fazer (e que foram feitas entrevistas a locais também).

Ficariam surpreendidos com o quão bem as coisas funcionam aqui! Concretamente:

Desemprego baixo (~2-3%)
Não há sem abrigos.
Sistema de saúde bem tranquilo. Se necessário e não houver a especialidade na ilha, as seguradoras voam as pessoas para serem atendidas em Miami (e cobrem as despesas!).
E praticamente não há crime na ilha.

What’s the simplest and *general-purpose* ZK proof construction you’ve seen? By ZK, I mean real ZK.

@bendreyfuss For example: Where I live (Cayman) there’s no Amazon. So we use a freight forwarder to bring stuff to the island. Second option is much better because items are all consolidated right away for the forwarder to just ship it.

Ironically, option 1 is worse for that
