For Delhi applicants, this delay isn’t just about time. It’s lost:
➡️Admissions
➡️Rent deposits
➡️Booked flights
➡️Mental well-being
➡️A whole academic year
And what’s the explanation? A vague reference to a glitch, with no real fix.

@GermanyinIndia We don’t want you to come again n again for providing us this general info as your time is really important for you and we know the embassy has a huge work load right now. Our only concern is that we have not received our appointment even though 3 months already completed .

Calling it a technical glitch might ease diplomatic concerns, but for students still stuck in CSP limbo, unable to submit documents or move forward, it’s far from fixed.
This mismatch between words and action is creating confusion, not comfort.

Students from New Delhi face indefinite delays. Meanwhile, other consulates (Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata) process student visas in under 3 weeks.
This disparity is not just frustrating, it is fundamentally unfair.
Delhi applicants do not lack preparation. They have the same APS, funds, insurance, and offers, just no timeline, no visibility, and no way forward.

My friend got their German student visa within 43 days from the Kolkata consulate. Meanwhile, Delhi applicants from March are still waiting endlessly. Why is there such a huge difference? please wake up and ensure fair processing for all! @AmbAckermann@GermanyinIndia
March applicants are still waiting for visa appointments, even though the standard 3-month timeline has already passed. it is causing stress and putting students’ futures at risk. We respectfully request @GermanyinIndia for urgent action and clear updates.@AmbAckermann
Waiting since 25 March for preliminary review for my German student visa. Like me, thousands of students are stuck with no clarity. This is impacting futures. Please intervene. @GermanyinIndia@AmbAckermann@GermanyDiplo@AussenMinDE
@AmbAckermann Respected sir, we are still not getting appointments as the standard time of 3 months is already extended. Please take your standard time seriously for new Delhi consulate we are really stressed 😩 @GermanyinIndia@GermanyDiplo
Visa appointment kab aayega? Embassy: Surprise system! 🎲 March applicants still waiting, April-May people getting through. Bhai, yeh system hai ya Hera Pheri ka new sequel? @GermanyinIndia@AmbAckermann please bring clarity! #GermanyVisaDelay#StudentVisa
March, April, May… the standard 3-month timeline is long gone, but students are still waiting for appointments.
Our future is uncertain
Embassy timelines don’t match reality — please please please act now!

So unfair. I have been waiting since 25 March, it has been more than three months and I still haven’t been able to start my application. I request @AmbAckermann@GermanyinIndia@GermanyDiplo to do something about it!
The worst part of this whole issue is that only a certain number of students are going through this torture, & that’s the Delhi people. We’ve been waiting for more than 3 months just to start out process for the visa. This is absolutely unacceptable. I request immediate action!
While we’re grateful for the clarification, many students in the New Delhi zone haven’t even been able to submit their applications yet. The issue isn’t just a misleading wait time message, students who joined the waitlist in March are still waiting for payment links needed to start the preliminary review.

@GermanyinIndia@AmbAckermann@GermanyinIndia@eoiberlin@suhasinih our hopes of getting visa on time is seems quite difficult. 3 months processing time has been crossed and there is no new update. All of this effect our mental state, finances and most important our current semester .
