🔥 Fire burns down Tha Pyay Thar village

8 & 9 December 2024
Myanmar Military troops reportedly entered Tha Pyay Thar village in Shwebo township, Sagaing, and allegedly set fire to the village on the evening of 8 December and 9 December.
According to a local news source, the bodies of four men were discovered, and approximately 150 homes were reportedly destroyed by fire after the convoy left the village.
Myanmar Witness geolocated the burned house locations using Google Earth and coordinates that point to the houses can be accessed by request to [email protected].
