When Rwomushana posted this clip about three days ago here on his X, someone in the comments, using a Gen. MK profile picture, wrote: “Anytym you will be picked.” Rwomushana then replied: “Are you threatening me, or is it merely an observation?”

Today, at the very same station, on the very same show, Rwomushana was indeed picked up by security forces.

UPDATE: Businessman and TikToker Muwonge Issa, popularly known as “Katwalo”, has been remanded to Luzira Prison after denying a charge of obtaining money by false pretence. Appearing before City Hall Court Senior Principal Magistrate Grade One Nicholas Aisu, Muwonge was accused of obtaining $85,300 from Mahomed Farouk with others, allegedly claiming they were exporting seven kilogrammes of gold to Dubai. Prosecution told court that inquiries are complete and asked for a hearing date. The magistrate remanded Muwonge until September 21.

John Musila justified in calling on Ugandans to turn against South Africans and their businesses in Uganda over the reported attacks on Ugandans in South Africa, including the murder of his nephew? Or does such rhetoric risk fueling retaliation against innocent people and businesses with no connection to those crimes?

They drive people into exile.
They push others to commit suicide.
They rig elections with impunity.
They mock us and post humiliating images of our comrades in captivity.
Then they ask us “What will you do about it?”
But when we remind them, that they too are mortal, and that pain has a way of returning to its source, they suddenly remember the language of ‘morality’.
Go and preach that fake morality to Yasin Kawuma’s mother.
Preach it to the children of Johnbosco Kibalama., Eddy Mutwe or Waiswa Mufumbiro.
Preach it to the family of John Ddamulira and to the countless other victims of the Museveni family.
Don’t try to weaponize ‘morality’ to shield injustice and brutality.
It won’t work with this generation!
Yes, we believe in morality, but silence in the face of injustice is not morality. It is complicity, it is hypocrisy!
