For all the 4 hours+ of the thanksgiving service, they stayed up on their feet clad in Gomesi, running their cameras.

FACT: During a mission to rescue UNLA soldiers trapped at Katiti during the NRA bush war in 1983, David Tinyefuza (now @sejudav) was shot in the leg but treated by Dr Kizza Besigye.

Years later, Tinyefuza would be involved in the brutal arrest of his best man and former doctor, Besigye.

FACT: According to those who fought alongside him in the NRA bush war, Yoweri Museveni fainted and collapsed at least once. One such occasion happened at Bulenga in 1985.

FACT: General (Rtd) Moses Ali was arrested on treason charges on 7th April 1990, tried and acquitted, but was arrested again on terrorism charges in front of State House after meeting President Yoweri Museveni.

The arrest was carried out by James Kazini.

FACT: During the NRA bush war, Salim Saleh was shot in both arms during the Bukalabi battle in February, 1983. On another occasion, he accidentally shot himself in the leg while drunk.
