@Something_value@forallcurious I feel like heat generated could be used to do some work elsewhere. The engineering problem being how to capture and move that heat while still cooling the hardware, I suppose.
@dennis_begnoche@Something_value@forallcurious Temperature is actually really weird in space. Just sticking a high heat generating data center in space would do little to cool it off. It would still need a cooling system since the heat it generates would not have much surrounding matter into which to transfer that heat.
@CMerandi Gorilla was put on Suboxone after faking extreme pain after the procedure. Obvious drug seeking behavior! Future dental procedures will be done without any pain meds.
@SDSLLC_USA@sue_waggoner64 Sadly this is the post-"opioid crisis" world. Cancer patients are being given Tylenol. People in end of life care and extreme pain are being denied pain medication. People who have chronic pain and have been 100% compliant with meds are cut off and ending their lives.
@SDSLLC_USA I'm sorry! The idea that you would jump to street drugs after a few days of a vicodin or percocet prescription is absurd and yet you're in tremendous pain, which can cause heart, blood pressure, and a slew of other issues. The govt screwed this issue up bad!
@VictoriaLy1y@SDSLLC_USA@sue_waggoner64 Innocent people are suffering because the government didn't care about the people dying from overdoses, they cared about taking control of Doctors and turning them into an extension of the police and it worked.
@itsrosesm WHAT IF YOU SHOWED UP AND THEY STARTED SHOOTING AT YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT WHITE ENOUGH? WE ALL KNOW THAT'S WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN BECAUSE WE'RE THE EDUCATED ONES!
@guyfelicella So you don't really have a serious question. You post your opinion that Trump shouldn't be in power and then in the comments make it clear there is no answer that could persuade you otherwise. That's a fine position to take, but what then is the point of the post? Virtue signal?
@CMerandi Plus it sounds scary and malicious! "Prescribing without a legitimate medical need" is likely to get a "didn't the patient just have surgery?" question, but overprescribing, well that's just a doctor trying to get someone addicted!
@66MusicStore@ibdgirl76 The government cannot do nuance. Even if they thought tightening up prescriptions in some specific places could help, they could have left chronic pain, oncology, and more untouched but they only know how to swing a massive hammer. Doctors should have fought back when they could.
@Coach_Moore_BU@RobertGC2001@On3@jamaljennings_ There definitely needs to be contracts, rules, and an agreement that is fair to both the schools and athletes. That said, the players should absolutely be getting paid.
@RockyHuff3@guyfelicella If someone had said exactly this 10 years ago, I would have dismissed it but after all the celebration of the Kirk murder, people like Hasan Piker, the DA in Virginia getting elected after saying he wanted to see children he knew murdered in their mother's arms, etc. I agree.
@topjibrone@RockyHuff3@guyfelicella For a crime that has literally never been prosecuted before, by an AD who campaigned on "I'm going to get him" and a judge who donated to his political opponent, but it was all on the up and up I'm sure.
@perfectrose2011@RockyHuff3@guyfelicella You're citing a lot of my actual points. "1 attempted coup"? There is no evidence of that at all and when the public learned this was fabricated (e.g. the BBC edit job), they assumed a lot of other stuff was fabricated. My point exactly, but maybe you missed it.
@TrevorLit1619@RockyHuff3@guyfelicella Well, the wars have not been illegal as evidenced by no legitimate legal challenge to any of them and second, Trump does not control the release or redacting of the Epstein files, the DOJ controls that. So you're wrong on both accounts.
