Today's Level 2 risk covers two separate zones: western Montana and northern New England.
Near Helena and Missoula, mountain storms building this afternoon could grow hail an inch or bigger by mid-afternoon. Up in Maine and New Hampshire, fast-moving storms dropping in from Canada will carry strong wind gusts as their main threat through the afternoon.
Hunt and Kerrville, Texas: this is now a Flash Flood Emergency and it's about as bad as it gets. Three to six inches have already fallen with 2-4 more inches an hour on the way, water rescues are escalating, water's getting into homes, and the Guadalupe River is rising fast. If you're anywhere near Kerrville, Ingram, Hunt, or Waltonia, get to higher ground right now, don't drive through flooded roads.
A Level 2 of 5 is up for Saturday, the Fourth of July, across parts of Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. With hot, sticky air and a front sliding through, the main worry is strong downburst winds punching down out of afternoon storms. Two days out, so plans can still shift, but worth a look if you've got holiday cookouts planned.

That 30% damaging-wind area still covers parts of Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado. The afternoon storms aren't the main worry yet. It's tonight: once the line clumps together after dark and slides southeast, the hatched zone is where gusts can top 80 mph over a lot of ground at once. If you're in there, keep your phone loud when you go to bed.
Level 1 risk is the main focus for Wednesday. We are looking at scattered storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts from the Ohio Valley down into the Appalachians. Similar conditions are expected near the mountain ranges in Idaho and Montana.

First thing I seen was Richard happily burning an American flag!
It pissed me off to the core just like it should every American! Our veterans have fought and died for that flag and it should be respected! If you can’t respect our flag and country you can kindly GTFO! @MrAndyNgo@paleochristcon@camhigby@ImFiredUp2
