Since IMAX has been a major topic of conversation lately with ‘The Odyssey’ being in theaters, now’s a fitting time to share a little bit of IMAX lore.
For ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ the arena sequences were shot with IMAX cameras, so if you watch the movie on a standard Blu-ray, as Katniss enters the arena, the film’s aspect ratio will change from a standard 2.40:1 aspect ratio, to a full 1.78:1 ratio to fill the entire screen for the rest of the movie.
You can’t watch the movie this way on streaming or digital platforms.
Another reason why preserving physical media is important.

Design D is the best Euro design and I will tell you why:
- they include the sound waveforms produced by the birds
- they include their habitats and travel paths
- each bird’s footprints and foot shape are included as security marks
- the bills are both vertical and horizontal
"scientists don't want you know" is a phrase that always cracks me up because if you actually meet a scientist they will be shaking and crying like an overstimulated chihuahua with the need to let you know
