Gray is described as 5-feet 6-inches tall and about 135 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a long white dress.

As seen in the satellite image below, the clouds are moving in two different directions away from each other. This is called diffluence, which causes the air to rise in the middle (western WA and SW BC). This rising air helps developing cumulus clouds and storm cells to grow!

Yes, tapeworm larvae can migrate to the brain, causing fatal seizures and widespread neurological damage.

The cause?

Pork.

An 18-year-old man in Faridabad, India, was rushed to the emergency room after suffering from violent seizures and significant confusion. Medical staff noted swelling over his right eye and groin pain, which prompted an immediate MRI scan.

The results were harrowing: the scan showed hundreds of white cysts scattered across the patient's brain, including the cerebral cortex and brain stem. These cysts were the larvae of Taenia solium, also known as the pork tapeworm. This severe manifestation, called neurocysticercosis, occurs when the parasite's larvae exit the digestive system and form clusters in muscle and brain tissue.

The infection typically stems from consuming food or water contaminated with tapeworm eggs, often found in areas with poor sanitation.

While tapeworms are commonly associated with undercooked meat, neurocysticercosis specifically arises from ingesting eggs shed in human feces. Despite receiving intensive treatment with steroids and antibiotics to manage inflammation, the young man died just two weeks after his diagnosis.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by parasitic infections in developing regions, where neurocysticercosis remains one of the most common causes of seizures and significant neurological impairment.
