📢 UGC-NET June 2026 | Important Notice

NTA had received several complaints about multiple errors in the papers of English, Commerce and Sociology. NTA formed a committee to enquire into and look into these errors and as per the recommendation of the committee, NTA will re-conduct exams in these subjects to ensure a fair and error-free examination.

🗓️ Re-examination schedule:
•English: 9 Sep 2026, Shift 1
•Commerce: 9 Sep 2026, Shift 2
•Sociology: 10 Sep 2026, Shift 1

✅ No additional fee for these candidates.
✅ Results for the other 84 subjects will be declared as scheduled.
✅ Allocation of seats will not be reduced.

@NTA_Exams I did extraordinarily well in my paper which is English for the first time ,my hopes were very high and NTA wrung them to nothingness in flash. Whatever was retained in mind got erased by the criminal protracted delay. Deliberate cruelty is unforgivable.

@TimesNowCareers The repetition of Pyqs is not the fault of the students who being punished incessantly for more than a month. The repetition doesn't also make any legitimate case to cancel the paper as the repetition in direct and distorted form is almost a universal phenomenon...so release it!

UGC-NET June 2026: Provisional Answer Key Released

The National Testing Agency has released the Provisional Answer Keys for 84 subjects of UGC-NET June 2026. The challenge window is now open.

Challenge window: 16 to 18 August 2026, up to 11:59 PM

Processing fee: Rs. 200 per question challenged

Last date for fee payment: 18 August 2026, 11:59 PM

Challenges will be accepted online only, through the official portal at https://t.co/KLjp2oEe9h. Each challenge must be supported by documentary evidence. Challenges received through any other mode will not be entertained.

In respect of the three remaining subjects, namely English, Commerce and Sociology, a Committee was constituted to examine the complaints received regarding various types of errors in the question papers. Based on the recommendations of the Committee, a separate Public Notice concerning these three subjects is being issued later today.

Candidates are advised to rely only on information published on the official website and NTA's verified social media handles.
