numbers matter.....
russia 138 ish million
ukraine 38 ish million.....

so russian is about 4 to 1 over ukraine...
BUT
factor in
russia has 300K internal troops they cant use in ukraine.. they have to make everything now, thats millions of people needed in industry..

russia has about 1.5 million troops in its military it cant use (navy, subs, rail road troops, nuclear, strategic, etc...).

russia has troops in moldova, kaz, georgia, syria, kalangrad, etc.... it cant use...

so overall its down to 2.5 russians or so to 1 ukraine troops..

now with moscow and st petersburg off limits to mass mobilization thats close to 1 to 1.

BUT ukraine forces are saying that they are killing russians at 7-8 to 1. thats a crazy number but its doable.. russia has been the one mostly attacking.. thats driving up the losses. add in bad equipment (WWII helmets, bad body armor, way out of date medical gear, little in the way of cas evac, etc..) a 5-6 to 1 number is easy to come to..

so if you do the math, and ukraine continues to mobilize and get newer gear and training the war should hit a point soon where russia is running out of troops... and from russian reports that point may have already been hit.

we should see this summer.

Sverige borde såklart visa ledarskap. Vi är rika. När Turkarna släpper in oss i Nato borde vi skicka 100 strf 90 och ett tjog Gripen till Ukraina.

Det är billigare än att imorgon köpa 200 strf 90 och 40 nya Gripen som avskräckning, om Ukraina tillåts förlora.

Notiser om att väst vill förhandla fram fred i Ukraina gör mig tokig. Vi måste öka vårt stöd, och skicka det snabbare. Det är det enda sättet att få en varaktig fred som inte raserar den lagstyrda världsordning som gällt sedan 1945. Det ska inte gå att rita om kartor genom krig.
