​Gatekeeper Systems announced a new C3 million (US2.1 million) transit video project to equip passenger train lead locomotives with FRA-compliant recording devices.

​Here are the critical takeaways from the release:

- ​The Catalyst: This project is directly driven by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) mandate, which requires crashworthy memory modules and image recording devices on passenger train lead locomotives by October 12, 2027.
