Hi @vline_geelong can you explain why trains have to slow on hot days? This is a genuine question - I’m assuming steel becomes softer or something like that?
@cvanestrop@vline_geelong@VLine@vlinefail Great job getting the CEO to speak, Chad. Thanks @geelongaddy for staying on the case. It means a lot to travel weary commuters. It seems only public pressure will get the basic problems fixed.
@VLine this is what a 300kmh train looks like. Smooth, comfortable and on time. And they didn’t just spend $5B making this line better. It’s 40 years old. @CommuterVline @DanielAndrewsMP#shinkensan
Travelling by train in Japan: pop 127M. On time, no delays and always a seat on intercity services (with trains running at 200+ kmh). Meanwhile @VLine cannot run on time or at speed. Third rate service for first world nation. Embarrassing. @CommuterVline @DanielAndrewsMP
@CraigOsborne72@vline_geelong No they don't but don't be too harsh. They've only been running a train network since 1883. Give them time to get it right. @CommuterVline
@ismnup @s_elliott79 @VLine @CommuterVline @fake_vline Imagine network when new services start under the much heralded "boost" to @vline. Network can't cope with current numbers. Oh the humanity.
@CommuterVline @vline_geelong @commuting_hell Just seen there's a grass fire slowing train. Why would grass fire slow train? If it can go through - it can go through. Why dawdle @vline?
