There's no real open-source alternative to commercial DDI solutions.
So I fixed that and built one.
SpatiumDDI: DNS + DHCP + IPAM all in one control plane. Apache 2.0.

I love watching @mzac23 build this opensource DDI platform.
He just got A/B partition upgrades working so they act more like appliances with easy rollback.
He uses GitHub issues for tracking tasks.
Claude Code is doing all the coding, but I can tell he is directing it in a structured way that I find fascinating.

SpatiumDDI: open-source DDI control plane.
DNS, DHCP, IPAM with one source of truth. BIND9 + Kea managed. Manages Windows DNS/DHCP agentlessly via RFC 2136 + WinRM. Apache 2.0.

@NetworkChuck I’ve been working on a small project called apt-ui to make managing updates on Debian based systems easier via a web interface. Thought you might find it interesting for homelabs. Would love any feedback if you can check it out! https://t.co/tOMUaebUYZ

The UAP Mesh Pro may be an older @Ubiquiti outdoor access point, but it performs very well! Covers my whole backyard and almost the whole neighborhood! Got it for a great price with fast shipping from @DeployDepotCA !
@pipefocker@Ubiquiti@DeployDepotCA Wow super! J’ai capter environs 5 stations du haut mais j’ai pas rester longtemps à cause du vent et la température. Merci pour la confirmation!
@TomLawrenceTech Hi Tom, I created a nice guide for connecting Unifi to pfSense and @Tailscale as I recently made the switch to Unifi. Let me know what you think! Thanks https://t.co/VHZkbguJFs
@icinga I’d really like to get @icinga working in Kubernetes but it has been a challenge so far. Tried using the docker docs and converting to manifests but keep running into roadblocks. Would be nice if it was easier!
@crosstalksol A couple months back we had a few squirrels loose in our datacenter. They even chewed through some fiber patch cables. Could the AI make a funny story about that?
@geerlingguy I really liked it too when I saw it hence why I took the picture. Looks like they maybe only sell to the corporate market. Found a data sheet (in French) but sure you can translate it. It also has a PIR sensor! https://t.co/gWgVZvnI1C
@davemakesstuff_@Thangs3D It’s funny I just realized the word play here. Tooth crowns are a real thing, but not sure anyone ever made a crown of teeth! 😂
