A win is a win. Regardless of who is on the field, no matter who plays, a win is a win. There isn't an additional stat column stating "win, but against the 3rd string QB". Soak this one up, Tiger fans. It was well earned.
Three shutout stanzas and 14 in the 4th leads #Mizzou to the 14-3 88th Cotton Bowl Classic victory over Ohio State.
The win is the Tigers' 11th of the season.
Also worth noting prior to tonight, the B1G was undefeated and SEC winless in bowls.

MU Alert: Police searching for white male, 40, wanted for stealing ambulance. He is wearing blue jeans, black jacket, gray shoes. Last seen Ashland Road area.
It is sad, really, seeing all the former players attempting to lower the standard to be happy with 6 wins and using merely being bowl eligible as the benchmark for success.
No, MU doesn't have a track record of championships, but to say 6 wins is successful?
@SeanWSpoon56 @TJMoe28 Expecting them to compete for championships is a bad thing? Or should we lower our aim to struggling against cellar teams?
No it won't change over night, and its not easy; but lets also not be content with .500 record & 13-19 in the SEC.
This year should have been a cake walk.
1-9 vs AP Top 25 (38-17 @ Florida last season). He went 22-12 in games where Vegas had them favored.
Not doubting he's a good man, but to say he's a good coach? Not for a SEC team.
Hot take:
Everyone is pointing out how Barry Odom is a good person, but not much about him being a good coach.
25-25 overall, 13-19 in SEC play, 0-2 in bowls. Bad losses to Wyoming, MTSU, Vandy. Skunked against Kentucky. Three seasons with losing streaks of 5 games.
@SeanWSpoon56 @MizzouFootball 1-9 vs ranked opponents, 3-22 vs teams with winning records, 0-2 in bowl games with Drew Lock, 0-4 against UK, terrible losses to Middle Tennessee, Purdue, and Wyoming. Sorry fam but that's not a scapegoat, that's the root of the problem.
