PAY ATTENTION:

For the ignorant in the room, the federal deficit is the annual gap between what the government SPENDS and what the government COLLECTS through taxes and other revenues.

We are CURRENTLY living under Donald Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which means, the working class have been paying HIGHER taxes for the past 6 years to pay for the tax cuts and tax breaks Trump gave to the rich and wealthy.

Trump's tax cuts for the rich and wealthy are set to expire in 2025, which means the rich and wealthy would end up paying HIGHER taxes while the working class would have their taxes reduced.

HOWEVER, Donald Trump already promised his rich and wealthy donors to make his Tax Cuts and Jobs Act PERMANENT after he takes office.

What this means is, the working class will PERMANENTLY pay HIGHER taxes to pay for the PERMANENT tax cuts and tax breaks Trump promised his donors.

Instead of taxing the rich and wealthy and using that revenue to LOWER the deficit, and thus, the national debt, Donald Trump would rather give PERMANENT tax breaks to the rich and wealthy.

Now, The Joint Committee on Taxation and the Congressional Budget Office estimated that the Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 would increase national deficits by about $1.9 trillion over 10 years.

The Joint Committee on Taxation projected that the law would REDUCE revenues by $1.65 trillion from 2018 to 2027.

And Trump is going to make THIS permanent. He is going to end up bankrupting the United States - just like he bankrupted everything else.

Donald Trump would much rather fuck over hard working American people by targeting the benefits Americans rely on to survive — Social Security, Medicaid, SNAP, the 9/11 First Responders Fund, etc — to LOWER the federal deficit.
