Reasons to let your imagination run amok:

1. Great mental exercise 🥊
2. Reduces stress 🧘🏼‍♂️
3. You add to your own beautiful repertoire 🏞
4. Its easy as just giving something a name to start with 😉😎

The most sketchy frog you'll hopefully never meet. Heheh

#dnd tip for new DMs: don't try to learn every rule at once. Let the players teach you about their characters at your own pace. After the cleric uses the same cantrip for the 30th time, you will know by heart how sacred flame works: it'll be etched into your mind forever.

[Grand DM @Grand_DM]

#dnd tip: DMs, ornamental gems can be spiced up by giving them minor magical properties. Perhaps a one-shot bonus or power before becoming ordinary.

I had to draw out @TanukiMaria’s text post

DM tip 59: watch online games, listen to podcasts. They can open your eyes to more and different styles of DMing! We can always learn and grow and the more we pay attention to others in the craft the more we can better ourselves as creators. #dmtips #trrpg

Consider adding some pastorals to your worldbuilding. Shepherds and the like make for excellent guides, since they know the land like no one else, and likely victims, since they'll be out alone with their herds a lot, not to mention some of their flocks might go missing...

A collapsed tunnel and a twisting flight of stairs leading down into the depths of an extended Grimlock underworld! This one’s up for patrons tomorrow! #dnd #dnd5e #mapmaking #cartography #fantasy #dungeon #ttrpg #roll20

WHAT IS A GM BUT A MISERABLE PILE OF SECRETS?

BUT ENOUGH TALK!

ROLL INITIATIVE!

[Hero Taco @n8iv_son]

@purplephreak Is that the Over the Rainbow set from Kraken Dice on the left?

[Questscribe @Questscribe]

#DnD #DMtip: Sometimes the best way to trick players is to make something way too obvious. Maybe the Tiefling tavern keeper actually DID summon the demon for once. Ain't nothing like a good old double bluff to bamboozle overthinkers!
