UNRWA schools are de-conflicted with Israeli authorities on a 24hr rolling basis during a period of conflict. Their coordinates are also shared & updated regularly. Attacks on schools, hospital, and places of worship are in direct contravention of IHL. Civilians are not a target!

This ultimatum means Israel is consciously setting the scene for a humanitarian disaster. With roads destroyed & fuel in short supply… there’s not even the remotest possibility of a humanitarian corridor - of the scale required - to facilitate moving 1.1m south of wadi Gaza.
