Weekly chart of SNDK in case people need a reminder of what a stock can do after it goes sideways in to the first test of the 10WMA after breaking out of a base.
Not saying that every stock will do that, but this is the spot that most leaders are currently at (blue arrow)
Sometimes they won't be as orderly as you like and present the perfect pivot,
For me as long as they're holding price structure I view it as constructive.
Sometimes those bigger red candles serve their purpose too, shaking out late chasers and making people take them off watch.
- Another strong day following weekend news
- SNDK TER AMD positions hit new all time highs
- Some consolidation near highs for indexes would set some great pivots in leaders.
- Have your ideal scenario's but be open to all possibilities. Price > everything.
I often see people say they really struggle to hold for bigger moves.
I think personality can have an effect like most people will say but in my opinion , a lot of it is to do with your process not aligning with your goals.
Weekend Review (Free Access)
- Good close to the end the week.
- Positions acting well overall.
- Bought BE.
- As mentioned for a while, most stuff got extended and now going through first consolidation.
- See if markets and leaders can build out constructively
Daily Review
- Pullback day but most close well off lows
- Importance of getting off screens and letting stuff work if have cushion
- TER stopped on add, rebought.
- Bought TSLA
- Ideally we see some consolidation here in indexes whilst MA's catch up, would help to set pivots
Embrace the boredom of inactivity.
โThere was nothing further I could do. I felt elated and restless, but powerless. I was like a scientist who, after years of work and research, has successfully launched a rocket to the moon, and now as he tracks it climbing higher and higher
$TER (long)
Double inside day in this pivot above MAโs here after the rally back from earnings gap down
Still viewing this as a first base out of a 4 year breakout
Some of the stronger stuff from my watchlist could be starting to follow my ideal scenario doodles. $NBIS $ARM have bounced strongly off recent pullback lows and would look great with a handle here.
$INTC Too strong to rest so far. A retest of the base highs
Daily Review
- Good relative strength in portfolio with all but one closing green with indexes red.
- Highlights importance of tracking relative strength and why I've been hammering home the point of narrowing your focus list
-VRT BE strength along
Given the fact that I would consider Jay to be one of my biggest mentors that Iโve learnt so much from over the years, I would probably consider this the biggest compliment related to trading that I have ever received.
Thank you Jay ๐
Only 37% of NASDAQ stock above their 20MA
Pretty easy filter. Don't see much point in focusing on anything below it.
That's the beauty of leaders, not only do they go up the most but they pull back the least as well.
Why I'm always stressing to narrow your focus list.
$VRT (long)
Weekly.
Good to see this showing a bit of strength and getting back above all MAโs. Close to being cut but held the 20WMA that has been support a few times now since the bottom
$DELL (long)
Acting really well last few weeks.
Got massively extended on the earnings gap (bottom indicator) and so far going nicely sideways to work that off.
Would love a few more weeks sideways here to let 10WMA catch up.
Could set a really nice continuation base.

- Great end to the week.
- SNDK TER BE new all time closing highs.
