"My secret is that I always believe something beautiful is unfolding. I always believe something really good is about to happen. And when I search for the beautiful and good things I've been expecting—when I look around and simply notice and pay attention—I always find them.” @ZannaKeithley

My life is just opening my phone to look at something, forgetting what it was I was going to look at, looking at something else instead, closing my phone, then remembering what I was meant to look at, opening my phone to look at it, forgetting what it was I was going to look at, looking at something else instead, closing my phone, then remembering what I was…
The older you get, the more realize
Everyone is slowly dying inside;
- Some stopped taking photos.
- Some lost interest in new clothes.
- Some hate love now.
- Some got used to loneliness.
- Some stopped meeting friends.
- Some stopped comparing.
Some just accepted what they couldn’t achieve.
The same people who once dreamed big are now just pushing through days.
Check on your people.
Not everyone is okay.
My toddler has been saying "oh dear" constantly in a British accent. We're American. We don't watch British shows. No idea where this came from. It's been three weeks. "Oh dear" when she drops something. "Oh dear" when the dog barks. Very concerned "oh dear" when my husband burned toast. Asked her teacher if they're watching Peppa Pig at daycare. Teacher said no, but she's noticed it too. It's spreading. Four other kids are now saying "oh dear" in British accents. The teacher is baffled. Parents are comparing notes. Someone suggested mass hysteria. Then we found out the elderly crossing guard has been saying "oh dear, careful now" to the kids every morning. She's from Wisconsin. She just has an affect. Fifteen toddlers have developed fake British accents from a crossing guard who isn't British.
May I always remain the person who talks to animals, collects random treasures, pauses for sunsets, picks wildflowers, and who doesn’t mind being a little weird.
8 TRUTHS OF LIFE:
TRUTH NO 1 :- Nobody is real in this world except family.
TRUTH NO 2 :- A poor person has no friends.
TRUTH NO 3 :- People do not like good thoughts, they like good looks.
TRUTH NO 4 :- People respect the money, not the person.
TRUTH NO 5 :- The person you love the most will hurt you the most!
TRUTH NO 6 :- Truth is simple, but the moment you try to explain it, it becomes difficult.
TRUTH NO 7 :- When you are happy, you enjoy the music, but when you are sad, you understand the lyrics.
TRUTH NO 8 :- In life, two things define you—Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.
My grandma accidentally became a Yelp celebrity in her retirement community. She thought she was leaving private notes for herself about which restaurants she'd been to. She was leaving detailed PUBLIC reviews but rating everything by her bowel movements afterward. "Gave me the runs - 2 stars." "No problems - 5 stars." "Constipated for days - 1 star." She had 847 followers before we noticed. The local newspaper did a story on "the area's most honest food critic." She now gets recognized at grocery stores. She still doesn't fully understand what Yelp is. She thinks she works for them now.
This footage was recorded at 11:22 PM last Tuesday at Harborlight Animal Rescue in Savannah, Georgia. The dog is a two-year-old cream pit bull mix named Pip. Pip arrived at Harborlight four days ago. She was found alone in an abandoned property. She had no microchip, no collar, and no information about her past. The staff noticed that Pip wouldn't eat if anyone looked at her. She stayed in the far corner and trembled constantly. Every sudden movement made her retreat in fear. The staff tried everything they could to help her…
Then we recorded this...
Why do people act like fun only counts if it’s parties, trips, or busy plans? I can stay in bed with snacks, binge random shows, scroll through playlists, stare at the ceiling for hours, and still feel like I’m living my best life
