Sometimes I envy some of my American friends for being a little less emotionally tied to their parents.

In Morocco, your parents are not just family. They are part of your daily life, your identity, your sense of home. You call them constantly, worry about them constantly, and no matter how old you get, you are still their child.

So when you lose a parent, you don't just lose someone you love. It feels like part of your entire world disappears with them.

And honestly, sometimes I envy people who were raised with a little more distance, because this kind of love comes with a terrifying price.

@hiarun02 used it to cheat in a math exam back in 2023, i had right answer but it drove me wrong. Since then i stopped trusting AI with my math problems (it got much better at them meanwhile tho)
