Today's Agroecology clubs from Kasese (Rock primary school and kilembe secondary school) together with Nakulyaku primary school from Kamuli district will receive their certificates for participating in the poem writing competions from teams of @ESAFFUG#NOW2023
Through this week, there will also be a platforms for dialogue between policymakers and small-scale farmers on how to sustain organic and biological farming methods that produce products that directly meet the agricultural and environmental challenges.

The dialogue was attended by small-scale farmers, extension service providers, input traders and media.

A team from @ESAFFUG was hosted at Radio Buddu in Masaka as they were sensitizing the masses yesterday about the importance of Agroecology farming. This is all in commemoration of the 5th Annual Organic Week.

The Agroecological technique of INTER/POLY-CROPPING is the concept of growing two or more crops at one time to harvest. This has multiple benefits including: Reduced fertilizer use (when one crop is a legume). Higher combined profit per acre than monoculture crops.
