I grew up with present father.
Married a present husband. So I don’t need men to mansplain ‘not all men’.

But the narratives that men work hard, and had their brain capacity depleted due to their work, and then gaslight women who question/protest that their men are useless at home by calling it ‘safe space’, seethe the hell out of me.

As if domestic works are not hard work, and doesn’t yield the same fatigue.
Not to mention working moms, who still need to handle domestic work.

Workplace is war zone for men?
It is for women too? And your audacity had to make home war zone for women too?

Okay, okay. Maybe you’re tag teaming. Maybe you take turn to take rest.
But romanticizing the whole phenomenon of useless men at home as ‘safe space’, invalidates the fact that the system rarely rewards women’s hardwork with adequate rest the way it rewards men.

Because when women shut down, they risk getting murdered.
