I don't think people are truly comprehending the magnitude of what's coming. And it's happening right under our noses like all the rest we've been yelling about, too late.
Thank you, Sen Hawley!
Get wise, America. 🌺
What would your response be if you went to church and the Pastor told you you were no longer welcome because of the trials you were fighting?
God doesn't give up on any of his children no matter what the situation. He will use these experiences to work miracles through us.
Lol to all you YT racist payback is a BIH. You all chuckled when you destroyed our Black towns and wealth. You laughed & celebrated when you lynched and killed us but now we #FBA get the last laugh. Because he who laugh last always laugh best 😅😂🤣
On what would have been Michael Jackson’s 68th birthday, I’m remembering the extraordinary gift he shared with the world and the special connection he had with my mother and our family.
This photo of Michael with my mother takes me back to a time when his remarkable talent was already captivating the world.
Happy heavenly birthday, Michael. Your music, creativity, and impact continue to live on.

💢Everyday is #BlackHistoryMonth celebrating Foundational Black Americans unapologetically.
Butter Pecan Ice cream
During Jim Crow, when Anti Black racist laws and policies tried to dictate what we could enjoy. Vanilla ice cream was illegal for us to enjoy. So Foundational Black Americans improvised. Our people took the simple treat, and made into their own. They roasted some pecans in rich butter, and created something timeless. Butter Pecan wasn’t just a flavor it was us taking what they thought they took away from us, while simultaneously elevating it with our own ingenuity, and cementing a staple in our Foundational Black American households for generations.
Making ice cream didn’t require segregated ice cream parlors or storefronts. Foundational Black American families used wooden buckets, hand-crank churns packed with rock salt and ice. Gathering around the back porch or yard to churn custard base by hand made dessert a community event rather than a commercial transaction.Pecans were widely accessible across the American South, often gathered straight from trees from neighbors yards, or local trades. Rather than relying on store-bought extracts or toppings, Foundational Black Americans would pan-roast the pecans in heavy cast-iron skillets with rich butter, brown sugar, or molasses before folding them into a sweet cream base.
Butter Pecan wasnt just a flavor, it became an institution in our community, passed down across kitchen tables, Sunday dinners, and generations of our people. Every recipe, every tradition, every piece of culture we have came from our resilience and ability to build something soulful out of nothing. Never let anyone erase our history, our flavor, or our bloodline that built this nation from the ground up.
Keith Lee's latest visit to Gary, Indiana is a reminder of what can happen when visibility turns into action and community answers the call.
After seeing residents of Gary struggling in the aftermath of the August 11 storms, Keith used his platform to bring attention and resources to the city. In just days, that call grew into a massive relief effort with 40+ food trucks, hundreds of volunteers, more than 10 companies and thousands of residents receiving food, cleaning supplies and other essentials.
Keith contributed $15,000 toward the effort, with Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton matching his donation for a combined $30,000. The Salvation Army, City of Gary, Ace Hardware and others also joined the effort.
Gary, we see you. 🤎
Just boarded my flight in Nashville and the whole @SouthwestAir plane is lit up pink, with @DollyParton playing loud on the speakers as we board. 🦋💝 #Dolly
Dolly Parton somehow stayed 25 for 55 years, built an empire in rhinestones, loved God without weaponizing it, welcomed everybody, gave back endlessly and made being kind look powerful. ❤️
Ultra feminine. Business savvy. Inclusive. Faithful. Funny. Generous. Completely Dolly.
There will NEVER be another one. Rest beautifully, Dolly. 🕊️💎
She opened a mini school just for Black kids. They’re learning in a safe, wholesome, peaceful, positive, racism-free environment. Our kids need more alternatives like this.
