Amir, a 10-year-old Palestinian child, was filmed kissing the hand of former U.S. Green Beret Anthony Aguilar at a GHF site after receiving food in Gaza, having walked over 12 km barefoot from a displacement area to reach the location.

Moments later, Israeli forces opened fire on the crowd, and Amir has been missing since. Aguilar later claimed that Amir was among those killed.

His family has found no trace of him in hospitals or morgues. They fear he was either abducted or killed and are calling on the responsible authorities to determine his fate.
