@jrlikeswhisky That is every brand out here. Service/Sales managers less so but techs, parts and sales 100%. Even the ones who stay a while seem miserable.
So on top of the Post Office issues, I found out today that the IRS thinks I OWE over 11k. Apparently they took the 20k refund from last year and never applied it to my est taxes or returned it. Over 120k paid in taxes in the last 4 years and they still steal. F*** the Feds.
@DouglasWei43233@USPS I actually talked to someone today...might as well been an AI. "Not our fault, doing what we are told, can't change it". A perfect example of a gov employee who feels no accountability to anything except "procedure". 3 PO boxes and a physical address and still can't get mail.
@DouglasWei43233@USPS My local post office cut hours from 10-2 down to 12-1....then never even showed up today. They are also supposed to put anything addressed to my house in the box since they don't do rural delivery here and they stopped doing that too and just send it back.
@bl_ag_inc And the 2nd or 3rd Gen will sell the family business out to PE or a corporation when they get tired of working b3cause all it is to them is an asset. Born on third base, think they "earned it" and cash out the second they can.
@brim006 People think you're joking. I remember when they decided to reroute an entire highway bypass (adding 3 miles) because they found a round circle of rocks in a farmers field and it was declared a "sacred site" by the tribes and anthropologists. So "sacred" nobody knew about it.
@dig_with_kyle Ive looked into the EPA regs on it already. Fortunately, most of the Canadian stuff I have looked at is compliant. Tariffs are such a mess right now that I haven't bothered with the idea yet.
The US Postal service is failing. No rural delivery here so we HAVE to use a PO Box. They cut hours at our Post Office to one hour a day...which was supposed to start 20 mins ago. Nobody is here and I have business packages to pick up.
@BlueCollarInvr@RealKeeganSmith You should. Quite a few rental houses do it. Then those rental fees that are eating you alive become payments toward owning the equipment outright. You WILL pay more than traditional financing but it is an option for businesses that struggle to get credit.
@joecamel90@ChoochSkookum He is talking about buying off road for your equipment instead of using taxed diesel. Saves a TON of money if you are buying fuel for multiple pieces of equipment at a time.
@shoe_magic@Leonajardinho The real rate of inflation between 2020 and 2025 was almost 30%. Wages went up 4% in that time frame. Average wages for jobs in my area haven't increased since 2015. Nobody can get ahead in an environment where inflation is driving spending power down and wages are stagnant.
