Since you mentioned fantasy specifically, I'd recommend:
- The Kingkiller Chronicle, Patrick Rothfuss (first book The Name of the Wind)
- The First Law Trilogy, Joe Abercrombie (first book The Blade Itself)

The only caveat is that the book 3 of The Kingkiller Chronicle is taking ages to come out, but still highly recommend the first 2.

That's fine, but we have to understand that these are people regarded very highly, by all accounts very intelligent, and they have extreme influence.

They have been pure grifters, something that I'd never expect ppl like Jensen to ever be, and I wouldn't be surprised if ppl that regarded them highly would make big changes like that because of them.

Quite often when using tools you don't really get enough information about what system resources it is using.
This is something that specially bugs me when using resource heavy apps, so from the next version of Ark VCS it tracks all its resources in real time.

The big question people should be asking regarding this statement is what is the point of crypto, which was all about decentralization, granting you freedom from fiat system / governments, if they can just seize it?
