“RDI Fund to catalyse private sector participation in India’s innovation ecosystem.”

Hon’ble MoS (I/C) MoES @DrJitendraSingh outlined the transformative role of the ₹1 lakh crore RDI Fund during a roundtable at IISF 2025.

✅ Hon’ble MoS highlighted that the RDI Fund will drive near-market technologies in AI, biotech, clean energy, semiconductors and deep-tech manufacturing.

✅He stressed that innovation must deliver real-world outcomes, jobs and national capability — not just publications — calling for stronger industry participation.

✅ MoS also underscored the layered fund structure led by ANRF, enabling private-sector-led R&D and supporting India’s Viksit Bharat@2047 goals.

✅The RDI Fund aims to bridge the gap between laboratory research and commercial deployment through professional fund managers and long-term financing.
