The enthusiastic race to unpack a family's trauma under the guise of "media commentary" is exactly what gives modern media a bad name. Itโs easy to build a brand on being a professional provocateur when itโs someone elseโs pain, but how would he feel if it was reversed.
We must push back against the likes of Kasuku. Yesterday, I saw a clip of about 51 seconds. In the same, Kasuku was lamenting Sydeny's passing, but seemed too excited and eager to talk about Sydney's partner and mother of their child in ways that I found shocking. 1/6

The Media Challenge Fellowship Program is an aggressive multimedia journalism training program awarded to the best 25 students from the Inter-University Media Challenge (#MCIMobileNewsroom), a practical reporting competition in 15 universities in #Uganda. ๐บ๐ฌ
Our fellowship program is one of our strategic interventions that aim at building the #nextgenjournalists who are not only multi skilled but also critical participants as change agents in changing their communities and the negative African narrative.
