@rabiasquared Loving your book so far, hard to put down. Also love your narration. Thank you for sharing your story, it made me feel less alone in many ways 💜

Most medical staff I've encountered will start lecturing & making judgements without properly examining or considering other issues making things worse. Please do better.

In a study where Monopoly players were given twice as much money as their opponents, the 'rigged' players showed more cruelty toward their opponents

My toxic trait is that I'm in denial about my toxic traits. 😭💀

[Nahila Ahsan @nahila209]

Looks like there are others out there who love these, too 😍. When I was younger, I'd go for the vanilla ones first, but now I like them all with the lime one being first pick now.

🚩🚩🚩 for multiple reasons:

1) India is a big country with a range of dishes & ways of cooking. What you find in many cities is not reflective of a country with over a billion people.

2) I'm not Indian. My family is from Pakistan. I haven't found a restaurant that serves food like what my mom or grandmother made; you may get it through home catering where someone made it in their garage or backyard kitchen 😅.

Them: We’re short staffed. We don’t have teachers, bus drivers, restaurant workers, delivery persons, nursing aides… people don’t want to work!

Me: It could be that… or maybe it’s that 715,000 people have died…& currently another 1 is dying every 47seconds. They were “staff”

@elamin88 @kanwalful Yes! That timeline can also be applied by how that age group addresses you:

@robotics Gosh, this reminds me of how much I miss the cheddar and horseradish chips from there 😋😭

63 studies: women who assert their ideas, make direct requests, and advocate for themselves are liked less.

They're also less likely to get hired—and it hasn't improved over time.

It's 2021. When will we stop punishing dominant women for violating outdated gender stereotypes?
