I think I can safely speak for a lot of @nuggets fans when I say, we do not want Kevin Porter Jr. While this is a business and sport, employing abusive men is not the standard I expect from my team. It tells women it does not value them, and shows men that violence is acceptable.
Patrick Stewart's entire body of work, but as Picard in particular, is something that connects the person I am today with who I was as a kid. It collapses time for me. I still have the same awe and fascination with his performance and belief that it represents the best of us.
@NBABlackburn correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't today the deadline for DaRon Holmes's 4th year option? I suspect Nuggets will be *ahem* declining that one
very credible DV allegations and charges aside, I don't see KPJ bringing much needed maturity, defense, playmaking, and spacing to this team. he's just a lottery ticket who, best case scenario, is minute-eating regular season 6th man who doesn't contribute in the playoffs. cool!
Multiple people around the league have told @TheConsensusNBA in recent days that the Denver Nuggets want Kevin Porter Jr.
In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising if Denver signs Porter now, despite being above the second apron, with the intention of getting below the threshold later.
@ryanflynn8067@EthicalHoopz not sure how you got there. im saying that the nfl player labor pool is majority black so, given US history and ongoing racial inequities, the fact that their profession entails a high likelihood of chronic brain injury demands a serious conversation about the future of the sport
You ever just sit in a dark room and feel like the darkness is the only thing that truly understands you. No fake smiles, no false hope. Just raw bitter silence…
Nothing humbles you faster than realizing your team's mascot makes more than your rookie contract.
Rocky makes ~$600k a year doing backward half-court shots.
I was on a two-way deal bringing home the exact same base salary.
After taxes and fees, I’m pretty sure the mountain lion had me beat.
@HPbasketball been thinking about your urging of denver to trade for a shooter. any chance MIL will be motivated to trade for other team's picks given the rumors of a GTJ penalty? would love to see something for rollins, though i get maybe a FRP is too much for a rental.
