Hello February! 🎭✨

The month of Carnival

And Venice, Italy 🇮🇹, has kicked off Carnival 2026 with a breathtaking Carnival Grand Ball with Bridgerton, in the iconic Piazza San Marco

@spsmith45 For French: Indila, Stromae, France Gall, MC Solaar and Soprano

[SHS Languages Faculty 🇫🇷🇪🇸 @languages_shs]

Students who are going for a grade 8 or 9 in a French! Again, thank you for the original creator. We found it through someone else! Resources are amazing and we know many students are going to benefit from them! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

@valleseco Stunning. We’re in Alnwick, Lindisfarne this morning. Chilly!

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

@Dr_MmeGenovese Or any holiday 😂

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

@spsmith45 I meant to say both but could only choose one option above!

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

@Wanga14 @AQA Thanks Antonin - useful to know their response…

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

@AQA Thanks but my concern is that I won’t be able to see the GCSE results next week - can you confirm that they will be available on Centre Services?

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

Why is coffee ☕️ in Paris like nowhere else??

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

Just got home after a wonderful time in Pays de la Loire…feeling the blues now! 😥

[Dan Pitt @danpitt33]

Possibly the most French thing I’ve ever seen. A baguette vending machine that was doing a roaring trade earlier. 😆

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

Staying in Château des Vaux, Champéon. Village after village with a château, tabac and boulangerie…nothing else needed. Allez la retraite! #mayenne #champéon

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

@HBSMoLangs I’m going with KS3/4 in October. Hoping thing will have calmed but thank you for the heads up…

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

Well done! 👏

[WHS MFL @WycHighMFL]

A massive well done to all our Y11 students who sat their GCSE speaking exams this week. We have never seen some many traits of all learner characteristics combined together as we have seen this week. You have our true admiration.

@spsmith45 Couldn’t agree more. There is so much immersion in online learning platforms, but where is the output?

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

@MrsValverdeMFL @BotonesSalgado @ValleFdez6 @senorcordero @MissGonzalezMFL @EVSTeach @TeacheryDiaz @MFLWyedean @StefPianigiani @sonrieinspanish I will also share the Teacher’s booklets from previous years so they can ask the questions themselves in pairs. This should also help prepare them for what they might be asked and how.

[Nalina Pitt @nalinapitt]

@BotonesSalgado @MrsValverdeMFL @ValleFdez6 @senorcordero @MissGonzalezMFL @EVSTeach @TeacheryDiaz @MFLWyedean @StefPianigiani @sonrieinspanish Yes I’m going to do exactly the same - pair work on RPs/ PCs and then do 1:1 GC practice at the same time…well that’s the plan! 🤞😊

[WHS MFL @WycHighMFL]

Students and teachers sharing a moment of infectious joy. Must play pétanque again soon.

Hi All, I’m trying to make my vocabulary tests more organic - is it too much to test on 2 units (ie chapters not modules) rather than give specific words to learn? #mfl
