I was delighted to welcome Shri Piyush Arora-MD & CEO, and Shri Nalin Jain-CFO along with senior members of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India- part of VW group, one of the largest automobile manufactures in the world, at my residence today morning.
They appraised me on VW group’s operations in Maharashtra.
We also spoke about emerging technologies in automobiles at length. I am quite impressed with the group’s commitment to a greener future. I am also informed about the group’s generous investment towards CSR initiatives including water conservation projects in various districts in the State.
I expressed my Government’s full support towards all their initiatives and further encourage them to work on skilling initiatives as well.
