One of Argentina’s biggest tactical principles under Lionel Scaloni throughout the World Cup has been stretching the pitch as wide as possible. If he could physically make the field wider, he probably would.

Scaloni doesn’t rely on traditional wingers. In fact, if you’re an Argentine winger, your role is almost non-existent—you might as well look for another nationality.
