In a bid to steer the organisation towards a sustainable future, board members attended a meeting at ELI-UG offices in Nansana Municipality to assess progress of program/project activities & strategies established in #endingchildmarriage in Namayumba sub-county, Wakiso district.

We have continued to orient Health Workers and VHTs in regards to provide regular Youth-friendly health care services to child mothers and young women so that they can access SRHRs at health centers to delay further and early pregnancies in an effort to end child marriages.

The use of a social enterprise approach to support women’s economic empowerment has a relatively long history. Self Employed Women’s groups bring together women working in the informal sector to access microfinance institutions to encourage micro-entrepreneurship among women.
