You're all mistaken! ENS didn't invent the technology for web3 domains! ETH wasn't the first blockchain with smart contracts! I was registering domains in the @NxtCommunity blockchain back in 2013. They were called "Aliases" and you could link them to your address!

You can even add Crypto address to handshake names and they will work/resolve directly in your browser. No need to download anything.

@chain_domains @xHNSTLD @mattgould That's what you think & might be a case. In that case too you can use Handshake wallet to send it to a name/TLD/actual real domain like "myname/" and custody that asset in your wallet. No need to rent it from anybody or wait for any integration.

Food 4 thought: Wallet names, what you calling as web3-domains doesn't work with DNS.

To send crypto, just send it to address as usual. Both party need to be on that naming system to use that naming system in first place & many people wont chose it.
