Reminder in light of the (by most accounts friendly) dog shot to death at Percy Warner Park yesterday — Nashville has an ordinance banning guns in parks. It was overridden in 2015 by an @TNGOP state law signed by Governor @BillHaslam.

I was at the Metro Council meeting and I shit you not, they green-lighted an assisted living development on the flood plain. Old, mobility compromised people in harm’s way. The Cumberland will flood again, and these people will have a lot to answer for.
