This is my last post in X. The X owner has broken every single moral rule, while expanding the visibility of the worst accounts, and stealing good quality content to feed his AI venture. You should do same. You can follow me as nanochess in Mastodon, Instagram, or Bluesky.
@raulgfx The levels are drawn as a bitmap, and a special program does a two-step process. Later with CVBasic, I discovered a more easy way, you just draw a double-height bitmap, the top one normal, and the bottom one shifted 4 pixels, and you simply blast the TMSColor generated name table
@Love2Code@IsaacKing314 He mixes unrelated concepts. 80 years ago was Konrad Zuse with decimal digit floating-point. FP now is so fast as integer math, so Python does well to help people learning; webpage slowness is in the garbage collector+DOM tree. Arbitrary precision doesn't solve irrational numbers
@gordoslair I don't have tested it, but it should be compatible as it only adds a further sound chip, the cassette/printer interface, and 2K RAM and 12K ROM for the BASIC. Don't forget to insert a cartridge in the ECS (any game) or it won't work.
